Routes. Remains from Barcelona’s past are to be found all around the neighbourhood of El Born. Visitors can now re-live the local past thanks to augmented reality.

The archaeological remains in El Born are to be found around the entire neighbourhood of La Ribera. Some present day streets and buildings around the Santa Maria del Mar temple, the Fossar de les Moreres and Pla de Palau squares date back to the same time.

Although these remains are from the 18th century, they fit into a present day context via geolocation. Technology allows visitors to the neighbourhood to view the most unique buildings in the area in 3D, some of which have now disappeared while others have changed over time.
